I wonder if the Ultium platform will be flexible enough to incorporate superior battery technology when it becomes available. In other words, could you swap out battery cells with a radically different battery chemistry. That seems smart considering the rapid advancement going on now. Outmoded batteries is what killed the Bolt. Gm plans to cease production of the Bolt at the end of the year.
