not enough detail for me. Anything can tow great for 100 ft, what's the range changes when you start towing and how fast can you charge it back up and keep going? We know this now with the F150 and Rivian R1t (a long ass time) and they should be pushing it pretty hard if the 800V / 350W split charge feature halves that time or better.

Yeah, pure marketing fluff. I can’t wait for real world YouTube videos that show how far a 400 mile Silverado EV can go with a 24 foot airstream in tow.

It's not a 1:1 comparison, but since we have no other information yet...there is a TikTok account called, "AllElectricFamily" that is all about towing their Airstream with a R1T and Lightning. They've had overwhelmingly positive experiences, but as expected a few charging hiccups.

They have longer videos on Youtube, that was what I was referencing in knowing what the F150/R1T can do, as they have both. about 110 miles with an Airstream, and then 45-50m to charge. We need better charge setups to handle stuff like a truck/trailer. Any trailer will have to disconnect or block the row to do it.

I did like that the Ford Transit E-Van that Winnebago is converting into a concept has the charge plugin dead center of the grill.

I'm a big fan of pull in charging, not back in. If you want some fun, grab some popcorn and go sit in a Walmart parking lot by an EV charger that gets some use. It's an adventure watching people back in.

Totally agree! It seems like the best option right now happens when you can "pull through" but from behind so you don't block the pull in access for the other chargers. We have a long way to go on charging infrastructure still!

This video is an old one. I saw it months ago. It seems like they are regurgitating "news" to keep people's interest for the years ahead. The fact is nothing is happening. There is one Silverado EV in existence and nobody is "testing" it. Sometimes they have to have a "specialist" open the doors. I'm seventy and waiting over two years seems like a very long time. The Lightning is starting to look better all the time.
