I:m not jumping ship, but I’m putting in a reservation for the Denali anyway, and we’ll see which comes earlier. My RST reservation was very late (Aug) so we’ll see which one comes first. I hope the Denali has a midgate. Alas, if GM announces a Subyukonade EV, I’ll be cancelling both orders.

I hear you... I don't know what a Subyukonade is but I know I'll soon find out If the Denali don't have a midgate, I may stick around, but then, I am also buying the Hummer EV SUV...we'll see...

McElveen is doing it again on the Denali EV just as they have done on the Hummer EV SUT/SUV. Ty White is my salesperson. The Sales Director sent an email to all Hummer reservationist with them announcing the below. Not only that, they will fly you in to pick your Denali just like they will for your hummer. See part of the email below.

The latest info from GM to dealers indicates that the 3X Trucks should start delivering Q1 of 2023 through the entire year of 2023 and 2X Trucks hitting the ground in Q2/Q3 2023. Edition 1 SUV’s should start delivering late Q1/Early Q2 of 2023 with the 3X & 2X SUV’s late Q2/Q3. With that said I am still anticipating early 3X truck customers finalizing their orders this quarter.

For those who might be interested in reserving the new Sierra EV Denali, Reservations will open at 5PM on Thursday 10/20/22. I just don't get how they make money from this, paying for your flight eating into their margins. Folks out of state won't be going there for service future service as the commute is horrible. Maybe there are some manufacturer incentives to becoming the #1 EV dealership in the nation?

Of course no one from out of state will go there for service. I suppose they make money in volume selling.

Wow, never heard of a dealer offering to fly you in !

Have heard of dealers picking you up at the airport that you paid for....

I'd be happy with a GM dealer that won't charge ADM over MSRP...

Got a reservation but not happy they are not offering the lower base trims.

Hope my reservation won't be just for the $107,000 truck.

Got mine also and they are offering two lower trims; the 4AT and the Elevation. I want it to have power down and UP tailgate but no mention at the moment. The crab walk is standard and not an option on the Silverado which is a plus. I like it...

I tried to get a reservation and it says 1st edition are sold out. I think when you made your reservations they are maxed optioned Denalis. The clue was when I looked at the panoramic roof. Under Denali it shows as an available feature (option) but in the text it says it is standard with 1st edition. I really want the AT4 or the Denali without the panoramic roof. So I’ll happily wait for the next round where I can choose rather than get everything including things I don’t want

I see the fixed roof as an option on the AT4, so yeah, that's the one you want since you don't want the roof. The AT4 comes out a year behind the Denali...

I never want to be first in line anyway. I have a 3rd model year volt, second model year CTS, I’m happy to wait for the second model year Sierra EV

Found this. I think I want all the options except the huge rims and panoramic roof (and edition 1 stickers). I learned my lesson: low profile tires with big rims + potholes = cracked rims
